VERY interesting site, this! It's stated purpose is to provide a resource where the "growing" number of those teaching comic/sequential art can share their ideas. Just the fact that there IS such a site is exciting!
BUT (You know there had to be one.), it is also claimed on the site that the number of young artists choosing to go into comics is growing. I would love to believe this, but I also realize that, even if it's true, it doesn't mean a thing if the readership doesn't grow. As it is, I believe it's ALREADY easier to land an acting job in Hollywood than it is to become a successful (i.e., living well off of it) comics artist or writer. More young artists trying to break in will just increase the odds, if the fan base continues to stagnate.
And, hey, I'm the Suspended Animation reviewer with the POSITIVE outlook on the future of comics. Don't get my good friend and fellow reviewer Michael Vance started....
