Back in the early '90's, Suspended Animation was still a young column, written by Michael Vance and R.A. Jones (Who were NOT so young. - Heh). The two erstwhile comics historians actually talked a Tulsa radio station, and two out-of-state stations, into airing weekly installments of S.A., so that listeners could be educated about some of the superior reading choices to be found in the world of sequential entertainment.
Although that venture ended long ago, it was my wish to preserve those recordings, while also offering them up to a (hopefully) new
generation of potential fans. Wrestling the original tapes away from Michael was not easy, (Like a starving man with a chicken leg, folks.) but sanity eventually prevailed. And so, we have Suspended Animation Radio. Every week, a "new" review starring Vance and Jones will be made available in the Box widget in the left margin. Be sure to check back on a regular basis to hear and enjoy even more Suspended Animation!
This week, Michael and R.A. review Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis, from Dark Horse Comics, circa 1991. Just click on the Indiana Jones mp3 symbol to hear the review.
